The Price Guide Browser

Here are the following steps to order the 2007 Price Guide Browser:

1) First purchase the 2007 hard copy Price Guide. Since this product uses copyrighted material from the Price Guide by the McDougalds' they have made this a requirement for the sale of the 2007 Price Guide Browser.

2) Decide on the product you what.

Best seller: Package 1 for Windows! Order it for $30 now!

Package 1: Price Guide Browser (View a demonstration)

The "Price Guide Browser" application where you can look up any insulator with a couple clicks of your mouse.
The "Insulator Arial font" that contains the special symbols used in the Price Guide (currently available for Windows systems only)

Select the version that corresponds to the type of computer you are running:
*** Order Package 1 ($30) for Windows or Mac

Package 2: Price Guide Browser and Full Database (advanced users only) (View the database format)

This includes everything in package 1 and ...
An ASCII text dump of the Price Guide database in tab separated format that can be easily read into a database or spread sheet application. For Windows users a Microsoft Access 2000 database is also provided.
NOTE: This package with the database is only recommended for the advanced user who has experience working with Microsoft Access or other database applications such as FileMaker or mySQL.

Select the version that corresponds to the type of computer you are running:

Software Requirements:

Package 1:

A web browser running on your computer. If you are able to view the demo, you meet that requirement. You do not need to be connected to the Internet. Support for CSS is strongly recommended. (check to see if your browser supports CSS)
To use the "Insulator Arial" font your computer must be running Microsoft Windows. For other computers an alternate Price Guide Browser is available which has the special symbols replaced with text. (see example)

Package 2:

Since this includes all of Package 1, you must also meet those requirementsl.
Any database application that can import data from a tab delimited text file. Nearly all database packages are able to do this.
If you use the preloaded Microsoft Access database, you must have a compatible version of Microsoft Access.

Licensing:

The Price Guide Browser and optional Database ("the product") is for your own personal, private, non-commercial use only. You may install this product on any and all computers that are owned by you.

You can not distribute this product to others. You can reproduce one additional copy of the product solely for archival purposes.

The product, or parts thereof, can not be made public on the Internet (World Wide Web).

The primary distribution method for these packages is by downloading them from the Internet. You can download it an unlimited number of times and for years after purchase, if you need a copy to install on a new computer or to restore a copy on a computer that crashed. If you are unable to download it, please contact and we can work out another distribution method.

Remember you do not need to be connected to the Internet to use the Price Guide Browser.
